We just took a family vacation to Sanibel Island, FL with our good friends the Freemans! We had such a great and relaxing week. We were there Thursday-Thursday and Turner got to take her first trip on a plane. She did great! Each flight was only a bit over an hour, and then we had a 4 hour drive from Orlando to Sanibel. On the first leg, we were lucky enough to get a row with an empty seat so she was able to play and move around. On the second leg, we were in a full row, and Turner fell asleep in my lap just as we were taking off and didn't wake up until we were landing! She was such a great traveler in the plane and in the car!
Turner had a blast at the beach! She wasn't afraid at all and was so easy going and flexible even when her schedule was blown to pieces. With the exception of a baseball game and a trip to the outlets, our days on the island were all pretty much like this...wake up, eat breakfast, go to the beach for 2-3 hours, come back, eat lunch, take naps, go to or cook dinner! It was fabulous to be able to relax so much on vacation. We came back well rested with the laundry done!

Oh! It looks like you all had a BLAST! All of those kids in your pics are just GORGEOUS! I can't believe how long T's hair is getting. I'm glad you got to have such a nice relaxing beach trip - and just in the nick of time, too!
BTW ~ we walked past the house that was ALMOST yours, yesterday...the one that is near our house. I HAD to stop and peek in all the windows...it is just LOVELY - I wish you had gotten it!!! Ce la vie!
