Going Home!

Well, the day has finally come that we have to go home! On one hand I am happy to get to go home, but on the other, it is a bit scary! Before the left the hospital Christina, another of our pastors, came by and visited a bit. Both Turner and I got clean discharge papers, and the only thing we need to watch for is that she eats enough and gets her weight back up a bit. She lost a bit more than the average 10% of her birth weight! Tuan is more concerned about it than I am, since now it seems my milk is coming in a bit! We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so we'll know more about how her weight is progressing then!

On our way home, Tuan wanted to show Turner off to the people at work, so we drove by there and they all came out to say hi!

Everyone at the hospital was so good to us and showed Turner so much affection! Our first nurse, Kim, even stopped in one day when she was working in another part of the hospital to check on us! I would definitely go back there again.

Mom and Dad spent the afternoon and evening with us! Dad held Turner almost all day! She was very sleepy! Tuan decided, against my better judgement, that he was up to mowing the overgrown lawn, but later said he wished we had let someone else do it. We had asked Brian to help us find someone at church to do it, but Tuan decided he felt up to it. Well, as he was just finishing up, Jeff came by with his lawn mower in tow. He and Jen are so good to us! We owe them so much! He had noticed it was overgrown when they brought the food over, but Dianna at church had also sent out a request after talking to Brian! We are just so blessed and can't get over that!

We continue to fall more and more in love with Turner even in the midst of total exhaustion! It is so hard to sleep when she is sleeping when you want to visit with people and get some things done!
