Turner had her 15 month well visit last week.
She weighed 21 pounds 9 oz. This is just barely above the 25h percentile. Her weight has changed very little, but the doctor says she looks healthy and proportioned and that is enough for him.
She is 30.25 inches long. This is just barely below the 50th percentile.
Her head is measuring 45.5 cm. This is right between the 25th and 50th percentile.
She didn't get to have her immunizations as planned because she had been running a fever of about 102 degrees for a few days and the doctor didn't want her little body to have to fight anything else. He said that they were seeing 3-4 children a day with some type of virus that typically only presented with a fever and sometimes a rash, but he wanted to rule out bacterial stuff so he bagged her for a urine sample (which she never gave), took some blood (pricked her finger) and did a strep test. Everything came back okay so we waited and as he suspected the fever just broke on the 4th day, and she was fine. She actually got the rash the next day, but it went away quickly!
Poor baby was there for 2 hours, still with fever, not having slept much the night before and was miserable. I kept her pretty well entertained with drawing (on me, herself and some paper), cartoons from streaming Sprint TV, and germy doctor's office books.
