Monday, Turner and I were home all day because she definitely has a stomach bug. We tried to take her to school, but she had a huge blowout and got sent home first thing. We thought she was getting over it, Sunday wasn't bad at all. Monday she didn't seem so bad either, but didn't make it a full day on Tuesday because she all of a sudden had a fever. She has had a lingering cough, so we decided to take her to the doctor. Again, they said they think she had developed a sinus infection and gave her an antibiotic! Because she couldn't go back to school on Wednesday (my birthday), Tuan spent the morning with her, and I spent the afternoon with her. We ended up having my birthday dinner at Earthfare quickly and got home so that she could rest, she has NOT been sleeping well at all. Up for a couple of hours each night, she goes to bed well, but can't stay asleep.
Wednesday night was horrible, Turner was up for hours SCREAMING her head off and couldn't get comfortable no matter what we did. She didn't want to be held or laid down, nothing made her happy. We finally realized that she had a tooth cutting through...that's right, she finally has a tooth that has broken the skin! We let her sleep in a bit on Thursday and then she went to daycare for the entire day! She has started saying "duck" and "dog" and even says "woof woof" after she says dog in a tiny little voice, too cute!
On Saturday, we had breakfast again with my parents and then they kept Turner while Tuan and I went to the Barter Theater and to dinner. It was our Valentine's Day, Anniversary, My Birthday outing, and we really enjoyed our day despite missing T-Baby! Sunday, we went to church, took naps and Turner ate a ton! Weird for her, she couldn't seem to eat enough! FYI...she hasn't slept through the night since Monday...we're beat! Hopefully she will feel better soon, there is another tooth near the surface!

Snot, blowouts and fever...Those were Alex's signs of teeth every time! It is frustrating. Enjoy that toothless grin for the last few weeks...it is the thing I miss the most.
