It seems we have our first family illness. I woke up on Wednesday morning with a sore throat and some congestion. Shucks! Turner is doing a bit better though, and that is good, hopefully we won't pass it back and forth!
Turner finally slept through the night again on Wednesday night, and seemed to be doing much better on Thursday morning. However, the daycare called me Thursday afternoon because she had had 4 loose bowel movements. We took her to the doctor and she said that it was most likely related to whatever virus Turner already had and that sometimes they two go together. She had such a great time playing with her daddy at the doctor's office!
Friday was just another normal day for us! Turner is still sleeping better, but has been having some trouble getting settled in and comfy at night!
Saturday we went to Oak Ridge to visit Tuan's family! Turner did really well on the trip, but was a bit out of sorts, we think it is because she hadn't had a bowel movement all day, she felt better when she finally did that evening! Tuan's family was blaming her fussiness on the fact that they were "strangers", but I believe she just didn't feel well. I was the only one who could comfort her, she wasn't even really content to be with her daddy. It made me feel good that she wanted to be with me, but it made me feel bad for everyone else! Trung and the kids picked out a great new toy for Turner, she has loved playing with it!
After leaving Oak Ridge, we headed to my mom and dad's house for a quick stop. We were able to pick up the toy box that my parents and my grandfather made for Turner. It is so pretty! Turner also had her picture made with a cowboy hat and the horses, we didn't realize until later that she had put her hand in the horse's nose! I am sure she chewed on it after that too! Oh well!
Sunday, we went to church and ran some errands and then just rested! Turner and I did some "mommy and me" yoga for a few minutes, it was fun and quite a work out, I will have to do more of that later with her if this sore throat ever clears up!
